NBA | Bennedict Mathurin collects 20 points in a 118-111 Pacers win against the Magic

(Indianapolis) Quebecer Bennedict Mathurin collected 20 points, a record for the Indiana Pacers, in a 118-111 victory against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday.

This is the third time this season that the 22-year-old athlete has reached the 20-point plateau this season. He also collected 11 rebounds.

Tyrese Haliburton dealt the Magic a big blow with a three-point basket that made it 116-111 with 33 seconds left. Mathurin confirmed the victory with two free throws with 14 seconds on the clock.

Four Pacers players scored 17 points.

Franz Wagner totaled 28 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the Magic’s fifth straight loss.

With this victory, the Pacers improved their record to 4-4 this season. They will face the Hornets on Friday in Charlotte.
