Competing in Group F of the FIBA 2025 European Championship Qualifiers, the Women’s National Team defeated Slovakia in its fourth match with a score of 65-50. Following this result, the Nationals guaranteed to finish Group F in first place and participate in FIBA EuroBasket 2025.
Türkiye faced Slovakia in Group F of the FIBA 2025 European Championship Qualifiers at GOPASS Arena, Bratislava. Completing the first period with a 19-9 lead, the Stars and Crescents entered the locker room ahead 32-18. The national team, which continued its effective play against its opponent in the other periods, left the hall victorious 65-50. With this result, Türkiye, which guaranteed to finish the group as leader, received its FIBA EuroBasket 2025 ticket.
In the Women’s National Basketball Team, Teaira McCowan played with 24 points – 13 rebounds, Alperi Onar with 12 points – 3 assists and Sevgi Uzun with 5 points – 5 assists – 3 rebounds. In Slovakia, Miroslava Mistinova scored 11 points.
