The Ju Jitsu World Championships, held in Crete (Greece) at the Heraklion Sports Arena, which began on 23 October and ended on 4 November with the 2024 World Cup reserved for U14 athletes, brought great results to the Italian national team who , across all age classes and weight categories, collected 86 medals in total.

Mattia Salvi, making his debut in international competitions and engaged in the last day of competition, played three splendid matches, winning silver in the Fighting System cat. weighing up to 69 kg.
