Lindner and Franca Lehfeldt are expecting a child

According to the newspaper, the baby is due to be born in early spring 2025. This is the first child for both of them. Lindner and Lehfeldt, who works as a freelance journalist, married on Sylt in the summer of 2022.

Lindner was dismissed from his position as Federal Finance Minister by Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) on November 6th, which led to the breakup of the coalition made up of the SPD, Greens and FDP.
