On the 29th, the KBL Finance Committee held the 6th Finance Committee meeting of the 30th term at the KBL Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, regarding former manager Kim, who has been surrounded by controversy over player assault. An anonymous report was received by the KBL Clean Basketball Center regarding this incident, and the Sono baseball team also entrusted disciplinary action to the KBL. Clean Basketball Center is a channel run by KBL to create a fairer and more transparent professional basketball playing environment. As the problem escalated, former manager Kim personally hung up his baton on the 22nd. Coach Kim appeared at the KBL Center of the Finance Committee on the same day.
According to KBL officials, the level of disciplinary action will be announced as early as the morning of the same day, or in the afternoon at the latest.
