Aix Maurienne Savoie Basketball (Pro B) – Poitiers Basket 86 (Pro B) 84-97 / Watch the match again

This Coupe de France match between Poitiers et Aix Maurienne Savoie Basketball (AMSB) started with a first quarter largely dominated by the Savoyards. The AMSB won 29-13, carried by a Kamel Ammour (20 pts) in great form, author of a perfect 4/4 three points in the first half. The second quarter was more balanced, with a slight advantage for Poitiers which won 23-25, but the score at half-time remained largely in favor of AMSB, which led by 14 points (52-38). Returning from the locker room, Poitiers gained momentum with an impressive 12-0orchestrated by Jahvon Henry-Blair (33 pts) et Lane Fibleuil (22 pts)allowing the Poitevins to come back to the level. The third quarter ended in a perfect tie (67-67), Poitiers having won this period 29-15. At the start of the last quarter, Poitiers took the advantage and gradually widened the gap against an increasingly powerless AMSB. The Poitevins finally won 97-84thus making a superb comeback. Poitiers therefore becomes the first team to qualify for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France.
