Another week is coming Champions League. Between this Tuesday and Wednesday, the fourth date of the renewed Orejona will be played, which will feature some great games, several Argentines and much more. After the first three dates, the table began to take shape and we already know which teams are going to fight for the first places and which will compete for a place in the playoffs. And of course, The great novelty of this edition was the elimination of the group stage to give rise to a single general table.
After the first three days, only two teams remain with an ideal score: Dibu Martínez’s Aston Villa and Alexis Mac Allister’s Liverpool. Behind them, seven teams appear with seven units: Manchester City, Monaco, Brest, Bayer Leverkusen, Inter, Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal. Even further back, with six units, appear teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus…
Let us remember that with this new format, All teams play eight games instead of six, always against different rivals (four local and four visiting). Those who finish in the top eight places will directly access the round of 16, while those placed between 9th and 24th will go on to play a round-trip playoff against each other.
This week the fourth date will be played and this renewed Champions League will reach the middle of its first phase. And as usual, there will be big games: on Tuesday, Real Madrid will host Milan in the match of the day, while on Wednesday Inter will face Arsenal, PSG will face Atlético de Madrid and much more. See how the standings are and how the fourth date will be played in its entirety.
