Vals-près-le-Puy. The departmental tennis committee took stock.
The Departmental Tennis Committee recently held its elective general meeting in the premises of Crédit Agricole in Vals-près-Le-Puy, in the presence of many members.
The “Passion Tennis Haute-Loire” list, headed by Stéphane Pugnère, received nearly 93% of the votes and will therefore be responsible for implementing the policy of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes League for the four seasons to come. . This renewed and dynamic team will also be at the service of clubs to promote tennis in the broad sense.
During this moment of reunion, the satisfactory sporting record of the Committee was highlighted and four FFT (French Tennis Federation) medals were awarded to Maryanne Bonnefoux (TC Vorey), Marie-Pierre Oudin (TC Retournac), Rémi Daubord (CT Brives) and Jean-Noël Souvignhec (TC Yssingeaux).
At the same time, Line Avenas and Clarisse Verneyre as well as their coach Medhi Guetal from the Gorges de la Loire Tennis Club were honored for their performances in the 11-12 year old category and their career in the French championship, with access to the quarters of final.
