The tournament is open to the top eight players under the age of 20 who have earned the most points in a year. Participants will be divided into groups of four and compete in a preliminary round robin, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The match format is a 4-game, 5-set match, and has been held six times since 2017, excluding 2020, which was affected by the new coronavirus.
The first champion was Chung Hyun (South Korea), followed by S. Tsitsipas (Greece), J. Sinner (Italy), C. Alcaraz (Spain), and B. Nakashima (USA). Last year, H. Medjedovic (Serbia) won the title.
