The Simpsons‘will be part of the NFLthe largest professional American football league on the planet and which has one of its biggest fans in Homer Simpson. Yes, in case you know one of the great series in the history of television well, it will not surprise you that Homer is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and his big dream is to be the owner of the franchise. Finally, almost three decades later and on the occasion of a Monday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals next December 9will star in an animated version of the game that will take place at Atoms Stadium in Springfield and is called ‘Simpsons Funday Football’.

It sounds strange, but the NFL has been betting for years on this type of broadcasts that invite a younger audience to enjoy the competition in a different way with their favorite characters. On this occasion we will see Homer, Bart and other figures from the series interacting with the game live thanks to the special technology used. The match will be broadcast exclusively on Disney+ in a special collaboration between them, ESPN, ‘The Simpsons’ and the NFL.
