In addition to EA Sports FC, formerly FIFA, I get Football Manager from Sports Interactive and the publisher Sega every year. This year players will have to wait longer, much longer. The release of the football simulator has even been postponed for a few months.
The companies announced in September that they were pushing back the release date by a few weeks to deliver the best possible experience for this first edition of a new era of Football Manager. Well, it probably hasn’t gone so well so far. The team now said it needs more time to “ensure the quality and gaming experience meets your expectations and our very high standards.”
Therefore, Football Manager 25 is now scheduled to be released in March. Sure, the 24 is no less fun, but getting the new version so late is a shame. You could almost have waited until version 26 – and pushed through a nice transfer update for the 24.
