A deserved success against a direct competitor.
The sixth match of the season was the good one for Basketball Brunehaut: the Lionesses won their first victory of the season 72-66 against Lummen, a direct opponent for maintenance.
The Limbourgeoises took the lead after the initial 10 minutes (15-17) before Christophe Rohart’s players took the lead: 36-33 at half-time.
They then widened the gap, notably through Janay Sanders, their new young American recruit, to reach 55-49 10 minutes from time.
The visitors returned in their wake, Brunehaut was scared but did not give in and deservedly won this first success of the season.
