Registration Open for Free Municipal Sports Training School in Córdoba, Veracruz

Córdoba, Ver.- The municipal sports training school opened its registration for children and young people from 7 to 15 years of age.

Bruno Salazar Ruiz, Municipal Sports Coordinator, reported that they offer volleyball, boxing, soccer, table tennis, handball, basketball and judo classes, all for free.

What are the schedules of sports training schools?

Volleyball is taught Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 pm in the gym; Boxing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 6 in the afternoon at the Córdoba arena.

Soccer, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 to 6 in the afternoon on the El Mexicano Seven field; table tennis Monday and Wednesday from 4 to 6, also at El Mexicano.

Handball Tuesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 at the San José gym and also at El Mexicano, while Basketball Monday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 in the afternoon at El Mexicano.

Finally, judo is taught Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 at El Mexicano.

What are the requirements to participate?

The interviewee mentioned that all activities are free, only the following requirements must be met and registration is at the COMUDE facilities located in the El Mexicano gym facilities, be between 7 and 15 years of age, have a student’s medical certificate, copy of the CURP, copy of the INE of the parent or guardian and the response.

Salazar Ruiz pointed out that it is important to mention that the classes are in the evening shift, are free and were started at the request of people to practice some sport, especially for children.
