PSG will start in Le Havre, Brest-OM and a classic Monaco-ASSE opening

The LFP unveils the Ligue 1 calendar this Friday for the 2024-2025 season. PSG will begin the defense of their title in Le Havre.

The weekend of August 17-18, Paris Saint-Germain will travel to the Stade Océane to challenge Le Havre for the first day of Ligue 1. A title defense which will therefore begin in Normandy for the club from capital city. Stade Brestois, qualified for the next Champions League, will host OM in the opening round while ASSE, for its return to the elite, will travel to the Principality to challenge AS Monaco in a true classic of French football .

In addition to this first day, the LFP also revealed the dates of the classic between OM and PSG. During the 9th day, October 27, the Marseillais will host the Parisians at the Vélodrome while the return will take place on March 16 at the Parc des Princes during the 26th day.

Finally, the 34th day, scheduled for May 18, 2025, will offer two shocks with an OM-Rennes and a Lens-Monaco while PSG will finish gently against AJ Auxerre.
