Normandy Tennis League to Host French Individual Wheelchair Tennis Championships in 2024 and 2025

The FFT has designated Normandy
The Normandy Tennis League is hosting the French Individual Wheelchair Tennis Championships from Thursday June 27 to Sunday June 30, 2024 in its Tennis League Center (Boulevard Charles V, 14600 Honfleur). After three editions in Grenoble, the French Tennis Federation has awarded the organization of the final phases of these Individual Wheelchair Tennis Championships to the Normandy League for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. To promote wheelchair access, the Tennis and the city of Honfleur have undertaken renovation work for parking and entry to the grounds.

The course of the tournament
The French Individual Wheelchair Tennis Championships bring together around fifty players divided into 7 events: Gentlemen 1st series, Gentlemen 2nd series, Gentlemen 3rd series, Gentlemen 4th series, Ladies, Quad and Juniors. The 2024 edition will be particularly scrutinized by Yannick Noah, named captain of the French men’s wheelchair tennis team, a few weeks before the selection for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Pauline Déroulède, after her 3 consecutive titles from 2021 to 2023 , will try to win his 4th title. Alongside the competition, the Normandy League is organizing several discovery and introduction to wheelchair tennis activities.

with club presidents

Saturday June 29
• 10 a.m.: third match day
• 8 p.m.: official dinner at the Hôtel l’Amirauté

Sunday June 30
• 9 a.m.: finals and ranking matches
• Awards
