Coahuila Archers Competing in Archery World Cup in Turkey

Saltillo Coahuila. – The state is waiting for the start of the Coahuila archers Bruno Martínez, Ana Paula Vázquez and Ángela Ruiz have begun their participation in the Archery World Cup, held in Antalya, Turkey.

Starting statistics in the recurve bow qualifying phase:

  • Ana Paula Vázquez placed 39th with a score of 645.
  • Ángela Ruiz got 52nd place with 637 points.
  • Bruno Martínez Wing placed 82nd with 649 points.

The participation of the Coahuila delegation will be individually and by teams, highlighting in the individual Olympic round the young Ángela Ruiz, who will face Veronika Marchenko from Ukraine in her first duel. For her part, Ana Paula Vázquez will compete against Ariana Nuer Dunia from Malaysia.

In the team modality, Ana Paula Vázquez and Ángela Ruiz, together with Alejandra Valencia, placed 11th with a total of 1933 points and their first match will be against the Greek team.

Bruno Martínez, along with his teammates Carlos Rojas and Matías Grande, will do the same against the Colombian goalkeepers in the first round. It should be noted that the men reached 14th place with 1990 points.

The competition in Turkey keeps sports followers in Coahuila in suspense, given that it is expected that young people from Coahuila will seek to advance in the following rounds, representing Mexico with the same determination and effort that has characterized the archers in the state.
