Andrews, Evans and Cook;  exit operation in the ‘Penya’

The Joventut Badalona Club announced this Friday that guard Andrew Andrews, point guard Shannon Evans and power forward Tyler Cook will not continue in the green-black team next season, in a massive ‘exit operation’ to make room for new additions.

“Andrew Andrews, Shannon Evans and Tyler Cook will not be part of the Club Joventut Badalona squad for the 2024-25 season,” the green-and-black club announced in a statement.

In the case of Andrews, the Club has executed the clause it had to terminate the American’s contract at the end of the first year, while Cook and Evans end their relationship with the ‘Penya’.

Shannon Evans, who arrived in January mid-season to help the Badalona club, played 17 games as green and black with almost 21 minutes on average on the court in the acb and good averages of 9.1 points, 2.8 assists and 2 rebounds for a 7.5 rating.

For his part, ‘4’ Tyler Cook leaves despite his 9 rating, with an average of 8.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 15 minutes on the court, with 20 duels in the Endesa League this season. As for Andrews, the American guard played 28 duels (25 minutes on average) with 10.7 points, 2.7 assists and 1.8 rebounds for a 7.8 rating.
