16-Year-Old Uzeta Covarrubias Makes Professional Debut in Mexican Baseball League

On January 8 of this year, the Diablos Rojos Club of Mexico sent the Buenos Aires player to the Non-Professional Rookie list, but it would be on June 2 when, at only 16 years of age, Uzeta Covarrubias would fulfill his dream by debuting in the Mexican Baseball League, in a series against Dorados de Chihuahua.

The player graduated from Club Muralla opened the third game of the series at the Alfredo Harp Helú stadium.

Uzeta, in his first at-bat, hit a hit, and then scored his first run in professional baseball when he was driven in by former major leaguer Robinson Canó.

The young baseball player has represented Mazatlán and Sinaloa in various national events. With these credentials Venados de Mazatlán integrates it into its First Firm 2024 list, to defend the port’s colors.

Given the entry of Uzeta Covarrubias to the list of those protected by the bulls, Jesús Pulido and Mikell Granberry leave it
