With the ë-C3, Citroën wants to relaunch itself with an affordable electric city car

In 105 years of history – it was born in June 1919 – Citroën has written beautiful automotive pages. Renowned for putting cutting-edge technologies on the road as well as vehicles with offbeat designs, the French brand now sees its future through the Stellantis strategy. Its freedom of expression may be less but the group, born from the merger between PSA Peugeot Citroën and FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) in January 2021, gives it the means to reinvent itself. In 2023, Stellantis sold 6.4 million vehicles across its 14 brands, including 700,000 Citroëns (126,000 for France), a decrease of 3% compared to 2022 for the French manufacturer.
