Real Madrid is high in confidence facing the El Clasico duel against Barcelona. Victory in El Clasico will bring El Real closer to the LaLiga title.

Madrid vs Barcelona in the LaLiga continuation will be held at the Santiago Bernabeu, Monday (22/4/2024) early morning WIB. The two teams are in opposite conditions heading into this duel entitled El Clasico.

El Real has good capital ahead of this match after being able to qualify for the Champions League semifinals thanks to a penalty shootout win over Manchester City. El Barca had the opposite fate after being eliminated by Paris Saint-Germain in the same event. The Blaugrana were eliminated after losing 1-4 at home.

Madrid also has the upper hand considering the current LaLiga standings. Los Blancos are at the top of the standings with an eight-point advantage over Barcelona in second place.

Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, is high in optimism ahead of El Clasico. This is because a victory over Barcelona will bring Madrid closer to the LaLiga title.

Don Carlo is confident that his squad can secure the three points with a neat score before this match. Even so, he remains wary of Barcelona.

The man from Italy believes that fighting Barcelona is always not easy. Ancelotti predicts that this duel will be as fierce as El Clasico. Apart from that, Barcelona certainly still wants to continue to maintain their hopes of winning.

“If we manage to win it, we will be very close to the LaLiga title. We are playing against very competitive opponents and have played brilliantly in the last few matches,” said Ancelotti, quoted on the Madrid website.

This will be a hard-fought and evenly matched Clasico, as it always is. “This is a great opportunity to get closer to the LaLiga title but we know how difficult it will be because Barcelona is still on the winning path,” he explained.
