Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen Draw 1-1 in Bundesliga Turbulent Game

Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen drew 1-1 in a turbulent game in the German Bundesliga on Friday evening in front of 58,000 spectators.

Milos Veljkovic gave the Bremen guests the lead (62nd), shortly afterwards his teammate Jens Stage had to leave the field with a red card after a foul (73rd). Eintracht took advantage of this and immediately equalized through Tuta (77th). However, the Brazilian also received a red card twelve minutes later after a foul.

Romano Schmid and Marco Friedl played well for Bremen, the latter saw his fifth yellow card of the season and will therefore miss next week’s game against league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Frankfurt is in sixth place, with a large gap up and down. Bremen is currently eleven points behind Eintracht in tenth place.
