Baja Californian Karen Rocha will shoot for the bronze medal next Wednesday against American Candice César, on the farewell day of para archery at the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games.
In the Olympic Round at the Archery Center, Karen Rocha from Mexico came close to advancing to the recurve bow final by losing in the semifinals 6-4 to Peruvian Daniela Campos, after having a 4-2 advantage .
Baja California’s sporting talent had made it past the quarterfinals, beating Cuba’s Leydis Posada 6-2.
Karen Rocha, along with Samuel Molina, will be in the mixed day this Tuesday, in which they will face Cuba, represented by Leydis Posada and Alex Capo, with the aim of heading for the medals in Santiago 2023.
