For once he wouldn’t be traveling by bike, but by motorhome, so that it would work in winter too. The extremely experienced judo trainer had offered to lead a training session at the Jitsu and Judo Club (JJC Meilen). The trainers at JJC Meilen gratefully accepted the offer and invited their judokas from the various training courses to this guest training.

Franz Kofler pulled out all the stops with the 22 participants and standing and floor techniques were taught in a different way than usual. Of course there was laughter and sweating and at the end Franz Kofler explained why judo is not just a martial art but a school of life. After the training, he was given a few presents and said goodbye by the President of the JJC Meilen, Adrian Haggenmacher.
