On Sunday 8 October it will be possible to visit Dynamo Camp in Limestre (Pistoia), with free entry, in the traditional open day, which the Foundation dedicates to children and families, staff, volunteers, donors, institutional interlocutors and the community.
From 10.00 to 18.00 it will be possible to discover the first Recreational Therapy Camp in Italy, conceived, created and structured in 2007 to welcome children with serious pathologies and their families, from all regions of Italy, for periods of leisure and entertainment, with programs that help you regain confidence in yourself and your possibilities, to network and enjoy “life opportunities” and socializing.
Climbing, archery, water activities, farm and horse, circus, vegetable gardens, ceramics, hip hop, rap, magical stories, Dynamo Art Factory, Radio Dynamo, Dynamo Studios, Dynamo Musical are activities that give children guests of Dynamo Camp fun, emotions and self-confidence. During the day, it will be possible for the children present, upon reservation on site, to try some of them, in particular climbing, archery, circus, horse riding. There will also be a baby adventure park for the little ones.
It will also be possible to visit the Dynamo Gallery, gallery of the Dynamo Art Factory project, with the exhibition of works created by children and parents with contemporary art artists. See the short films made by children and young people as part of the Studios project, with professional directors. The program includes the award ceremony of the 2 million km, a sports and fundraising initiative which has seen hundreds of supporters involved in recent months. The highlight will be the official presentation in the theatre, on the project and its developments.
Entrance is open to all, with free access. Registration is welcome on www.dynamocamp.org
Dynamo Camp is located in Limestre in the province of Pistoia, on the edge of a WWF-affiliated oasis of over 900 hectares, Oasi Dynamo, and is part of the SeriousFun Children’s Network of camps founded in 1988 by Paul Newman and active all over the world.
