Vannes consolidates its status as leader of Pro D2 by winning against Valence-Romans

Vannes consolidated its status as leader of the Pro D2 by winning at home against Valence-Romans (39-24), Wednesday on the 6th day of the Championship. Trailing 17-10 at halftime, the Bretons were able to turn things around by scoring five tries during the match while relying on the boot of Maxime Lafage, author of 14 points for his team.

Montauban achieved one of the good deals of the evening by winning on the field of Soyaux-Angoulême (31-26), but the big score of this sixth day is to the credit of Biarritz Olympique who crushed Rouen 46- 13. Victories also for Nevers sur Béziers (25-22) and CA Brive sur Dax (15-12). Trailing at the break (9-7), the Corréziens owe a lot of credit to Fijian third-row center Rahboni Warren-Vosayaco, author of two tries.

In the last match of the evening, Grenoble dominated SU Agen (24-19). The Isérois took the lead at the break (18-13), but remained under threat from their opponents until the end. 14 minutes from time, Agen fly-half Thomas Vincent scored a penalty which brought his team back into the lead with a well-deserved defensive bonus for his team.
