In the Mauricio Johnson gymnasium of the Las Delicias Sports Center in Maracay, the U 19 national badminton championship began, with the participation of the states of Mérida, Portuguesa, Guárico, Miranda, Cojedes, Trujillo and Aragua, which will be held until Sunday October 1st.

About 50 athletes who will be looking for their place to be present at the badminton “Chalender” or rather Pan American badminton 2023, to be held in December here in Aragua.

Jorge Briceño, president of the Aragua Regional Sports Institute (IRDA), indicated that “for us it is a pride that the Venezuelan Badminton Federation (FVBD) is holding its last U19 National Championship in the renovated Mauricio Johnson gym, where the badminton players are looking to qualify for the 2023 Pan American Games.”

Likewise, Briceño said that “from October 4 to 8 we have the Venezuela Open International Badminton 2023, Paris Route 2024, where 12 invited countries will be present, including Austria, the United States, Canada, Italy, Mexico, the Dominican Republic , Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay, among others.” Finished.
