Tomorrow for the whole day at the Bosco delle Querce di Seveso and Meda there is the great Sevesino sports festival, a tradition awaited by everyone. There will be twenty city clubs which, with the help of instructors, will allow everyone to try their hand at around thirty sports disciplines. An opportunity for families to choose which activity for their children to do during the school year.
Sportissimo is an event promoted by the Sports Department of the Municipality of Seveso, organized by Pro Loco Seveso in collaboration with sports clubs.
The day includes the start of activities at 10am and the conclusion at 7pm at Bosco delle Querce (entrances from via Ada Negri and via Redipuglia). The event also includes a nice initiative designed exclusively for the little ones, who will receive a “collect-challenge” card upon entry. When the young aspiring athletes try their hand at a sporting event, they will receive a stamp on the card as a reward; at the end of the day many surprises and gadgets delivered by the Pallacanestro Cantù players (A2 series) for the more sporty. The program includes a preview at 9.30 when, not far from the Bosco, in via Ortles, the Bosco delle Querce archery camp will be inaugurated.
In fact, last July an agreement was signed between the Municipality of Seveso and the ASD Arcieri Bosco delle Querce company for the execution of the project “Competition, school and diversity: Seveso focuses on inclusion with a new shooting range the arch”“. The sports club will manage the sports center in via Ortles for the next seven years, promoting sporting activities with particular attention to young, very young and disabled athletes as well as engaging in the organization of at least one youth tournament per year.
In the afternoon at 3.30pm, “Bulli e pupe a 4 legged” is scheduled, the dog parade for purebred and fancy dogs whose proceeds will be donated to the Nemalinic Myopathy Families Association. You can register today during the Notte Bianca or tomorrow from 10am to 12.30pm and from 1.30pm to 2.40pm during the event.
