Mexicana de Aviación: what benefits will the new airline give before its next start – El Sol de México

The Mexican State airline, Mexicana de Aviación, is ready to start operations, which is why on its official website they have launched some services for travelers who decide to fly on their planes.

According to the page, users will be able to access four benefits as part of the launch of the new airline.

People who decide to travel with Mexicana de Aviación will have access to:

Hand luggage and personal item of maximum 10 kg

Complimentary drinks

According to the site, the airline aims to improve the quality and coverage of air services.

What destination does Mexicana de Aviación offer?

Mexicana de Aviación offers three different destinations divided into: adventure, business and beach.

Among the beach destinations are cities such as Acapulco, Cancún, Cozumel, Huatulco, Ixtazapa Zihuatanejo, La Paz, Los Cabos, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta.

As for business destinations, there will be flights to Bajío, Campeche, Ciudad Juárez, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana and Villahermosa.

Meanwhile, the adventure destinations will be; Chetumal, Hermosillo, Oaxaca and Mérida.

Méxicana de Avición will be managed by the Mexican Army, as announced by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

The president has also said that flights will begin in December 2023 with 10 rented aircraft, although the exact date on which operations will begin has not yet been announced.

The airline will have its operations center at Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), so none of its flights will depart from Mexico City International Airport (AICM).
