Judo: 7:7 to the final in the Bundesliga. RTV misses the “Final Four”
Remscheid.-jg- Philip Mähler was denied the happy ending with the Remscheider TV judo team. The coach of the Solingen club BFC had to be content with a 7:7 draw against JC Bottrop with his first division team. The team led by manager Cedric Pick, hall spokesman for the Bergischer HC handball team, ended up in third place at the end of the season and thus missed the coveted jump to the “Final Four” despite noticeable progress.
The Remscheid team had to replace 13 regular fighters for the final who were either injured or at the Grand Slam in Baku/Azerbaijan. The last match of the season in the Neuenkamp sports hall once again offered pure excitement – the hosts went from 4:3 to 4:6 to share the points.
