Martial arts courses started again on September 4th at the Hachiman Dojo, the amateur sports association founded in 2020 by Maestro Matteo Fiorentini.
Within this school you can study four different fighting styles: Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, Grappling and Mixed Martial Arts.
Karate, a well-known Japanese martial art, came to the fore thanks to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or BJJ, an appendix of Judo, where fighting is mainly on the ground, the aim of which is to subdue the opponent through the use of joint locks, strangulations and painful pressure.
Grappling or NOGI, a fighting style identical to BJJ except that the Kimono (called Gi) is not worn, and it is fought as in free wrestling.
Mixed Martial Arts or MMA, combat sports where kick, punch, throws and submission techniques are mixed.
The courses are open to everyone: men, women, children aged 4 and over, teenagers, adults, amateurs and athletes. Registrations can be made all year round and the first week of trial is free. Upon request, private lessons and self-defense courses can be given.
The Hachiman Dojo asd is located at the EOS FITNESS CLUB gym in Montefiore in Recanati, and is open from Monday to Friday at the following times:
Children’s karate: Tuesday and Thursday from 7.00pm to 8.00pm; Adult BJJ Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7pm to 8pm and NOGI/ MMA, Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm to 9pm.
Martial arts are the most complete activities there are, because they offer mental and physical training, simultaneously developing unique abilities, such as: strength, speed, resistance, mobility, agility, coordination, balance, respect, honor, courage, humility, integrity , perseverance, sacrifice, discipline, loyalty and virtue.
The courses are held by Maestro Matteo Fiorentini who boasts more than twenty years of experience in the world of martial arts and combat sports, being a certified instructor in various federations and constantly updated.
