Grzegorz Krychowiak (Pologne) prend sa retraite internationale

The Polish international, Grzegorz Krychowiak, 33, announced this Tuesday that he was now giving up playing for his team, which he joined at the end of 2008. The current defensive midfielder for Abha, in Saudi Arabia, counts 100 caps (5 goals, 6 assists) and participated in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, as well as the 2016 and 2021 Euros.

“Having played 100 games with the white eagle on my chest will always have been the greatest honor for me,” Krychowiak wrote on Facebook, without giving the reasons for this withdrawal. After starting his career in Bordeaux, he also experienced Reims (2009-2011; 2012-2014), Nantes (2011-2012) and Paris-SG (2016-2017), in France, but above all he distinguished himself at Sevilla FC (2014-2016), where he won two Europa Leagues (2015 and 2016).
