Frenchman Claerbout and Arin Victorious in Men’s and Women’s Singles Finals at International Badminton Tournament

Claerbout, 112th player in the world, beat the Finn Joakim Oldorff (BWF 124) 22-20, 21-17 in the men’s singles final. The Frenchman, 30, won the fifth international tournament of his career, the first since the Estonian International in 2018. Julien Carraggi (BWF 45), first seed, was eliminated in the quarter-finals.

In the women’s draw, Arin, 42nd player in the world and seed No.4, won against the Danish Line Christophersen (BWF 35), first seed, 21-11, 14-21, 21-17. Arin, 29, won his 19th singles title, the second of the season after his victory at the Portugal International. She eliminated Lianne Tan (BWF 40/N.2) in the semi-finals.
