National Final
In the city of Mar del Plata and under the motto “Growing in democracy”, the National Final of the Evita Cultural Games begins with participants from different provinces of the country. The initiative promoted by the Ministry of Culture of the Nation celebrates its 18th edition.
More than 25,000 young people from all over the country will participate in more than 50 disciplines in the finals of the National Youth and Adapted Games. Boys, girls and young people from 10 to 18 years old from every corner of the Argentine territory will be part of the Evita Games event and will demonstrate their talent in the following team sports disciplines: 3×3 basketball, 5×5 basketball, basketball, soccer 11, soccer 7, handball, hockey, artistic swimming, rugby, volleyball and beach volleyball.
As for the individual disciplines, there will be competition in aquathlon, chess, athletics, badminton, boxing, canoeing, cycling, mountain biking, fencing, artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, karate, Olympic lifting, wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, swimming, figure skating, paddle ball, taekwondo, table tennis and shooting.
The adapted sports disciplines are: Adapted Athletics, 3×3 Basketball, Adapted Badminton, Boccia, 5-a-side Soccer, Goalball, Adapted Swimming, Adapted Power Lifting, Adapted Taekwondo, Adapted Table Tennis, Adapted Tennis and Sitting Volleyball. Editorial: The Pyramid
