Eintracht Reveals New Salary List: Top Earners and Changes After Summer Overhaul

Five new players were in the Eintracht starting line-up in the last game against Cologne (1-1). Two further additions were substituted. There’s no question: the upheaval this summer was huge.

It goes without saying that a lot has also changed in the salary ranking. Three newcomers are now in the top 10.

Kevin Trapp (33) and Mario Götze (31), who only this year extended their contracts until 2026, are still at the top. The basic salary per year for both is around 3.5 million euros gross, but can increase to up to 5 million with bonuses.

Background: Sports director Markus Krösche (42) works with lower fixed salaries but with higher bonuses. However, the success bonuses are only high if players play regularly and Eintracht is international. If the club misses the European Cup and the associated millions in entry fees, the player budget is still covered because the basic salaries are based on the Bundesliga income. This prevents the club from taking over itself in the future.

In third and fourth place on the internal payroll are the new arrivals Ellyes Skhiri (28/free transfer from Cologne) and Robin Koch (27/loan from Leeds United), who have a fixed salary of around 3 million.

The next level is captain Sebastian Rode (32) with striker Lucas Alario (30), both of whom collect around 2.5 million per year.

Behind him is Omar Marmoush (24/free transfer from Wolfsburg) with 2 million. Junior Dina Ebimbe (22), Philipp Max (29) and Kristijan Jakic (26) are also at this level.

Farès Chaibi (20/came from Toulouse for 10 million), Jessic Ngankam (23/4 million from Hertha), Ansgar Knauff (21) and Aurélio Buta ( 26).
