Belgian Badminton Champion Lianne Tan Advances to Semifinals in Race to Paris

The three-time (13-time) Belgian champion, aged 32, will play for a place in the final against the Turkish Neslihan Arin (BWF42/N.4) who dominated the Dane Julie Dawall Jakobsen (BWF 74/N). .8) 21-11 and 21-13.

A triple Olympian (2012, 2016, 2020), Lianne Tan currently occupies 29th place in the Race to Paris. As of April 30, 2024, 35 places out of the 38 players (2 maximum per country) who will compete in the women’s singles in the Olympic tournament will be allocated based on this ranking.
