The year 2024 will be that of anniversaries for the Badminton Club du Pays de Morlaix. On All Saints’ Day 2024, the BCPM will celebrate its 25th anniversary, and next January, the 10th anniversary of its Kerveguen Hall installation. A change compared to Pouliet, where, as the licensees of the time recalled: “For lack of sufficient space, we sometimes ended up in the wall during the exchanges! “.
After stopping its activities during the health crisis, the BCPM has regained, since September 2022, a great dynamic marked by the return of licensees (around 90), and the participation, this season, of a second team in the departmental championship. Present in competition, by team but also individually, with notably two gold medals at the Brittany championships (level D) in Paimpol last season (Dany Dodier and Magali Ferellec), the BCPM also welcomes “leisure” and young people . “Young people have a specific slot on Mondays. And on Sunday, November 12, we are organizing one of the stages of the department’s youth circuit,” explains Min Hong-Stéphan, president of the club.
Training in the Kerveguen room, Monday from 7:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (youth) and from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (adults), Thursday from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (adults, leisure and competition), Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. h, open to all.
