Alek Manoah was destined by the Toronto Blue Jay organization to be the ace of the rotation throughout the 2023 Major League season. After having many problems in his throwing during much of the regular round, The team made the decision to send him to the Triple A branch, which caused a lot of inconvenience to the player and he has not appeared with the team..

The player was supposed to report on August 11, he was supposed to arrive at the institution to begin his work plan, but he never arrived. The Buffalo Bisons team, Triple A branch of the Blue Jays, reported that the player has never held a bullpen session, simulated games or anything similar.

The Homestead native this season had a .269 ERA, 79 strikeouts, 59 walks, 15 home runs allowed, 61 runs allowed and 1.74 WHIP. These are very disappointing numbers for a pitcher who was called to be one of the candidates for the American League’s CY Yong award.

We will have to wait for what disciplinary decision the Toronto Blue Jays team makes regarding this player and one of the possibilities that is being considered is that he will not pitch for the remainder of the 2023 season. Other things that may happen is that the player be released by the team that lives in the city of Toronto.

The 2022 season of Manoah had been very good and therefore caused great expectations what I could have done this season. The player still has several years of control left due to having a rookie contract.
