Los Angeles Angels star Shohei Ohtani hit another milestone on Wednesday with his 10th victory as a pitcher this season in a 4-1 win over the San Francisco Giants.
Ohtani (10-5) allowed one unearned run in six innings and became the first player in MLB history to win at least 10 games as a pitcher and hit 10 home runs in the same season for the second time.
He leads the American League with 40 home runs this year.

Ohtani held the Giants to three hits while hitting five times and walking three times at Angel Stadium en route to a third straight win.
At home plate, he failed to strike in two appearances, with a run scored and two walks, one of which was intentional.
The Giants opened the scoring in the second inning on a sacrifice steal from Brandon Crawford.

The Angels turned a 1-0 deficit into a 4-1 lead late in the sixth inning. Mike Moustakas called an RBI single from Brandon Drury with a three-shot right homer.
Last year, Ohtani won a career-high 15 games on the mound and hit 34 home runs, making him the first to reach 10 in both categories in a single season since member Babe Ruth. Hall of Famer, in 1918.
Ohtani has achieved the feat twice in Japan, scoring 11 wins and 10 home runs in 2014 and 10 wins and 22 home runs in 2016.
