NBA Free Agency, trades, rumors live on the ticker
8:15 p.m .: According to Wojnarowski, Patty Mills goes from the Brooklyn Nets to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Accordingly, he is part of a larger trade in which the Houston Rockets are also involved. OKC gets draft picks to pick up Mills’ expiring contract ($6.8 million). The full deal is not yet known.
8 p.m.: Celtics again: According to the Boston Globe, they are not trying to trade Malcolm Brogdon. Brogdon was actually already on his way to LA in the Porzingis trade, but this attempt failed due to medical concerns from the Clippers. In Boston, however, it is now assumed that the sixth man of the year should be fit at the start of the season after his elbow injury in the Eastern Conference Finals.

NBA Free Agency: Tyler Herro Part Of Three-Team Trade?
7:40 p.m.: Tyler Herro has apparently changed his bio and header on Twitter. It used to say “Miami Heat Guard” which is gone now. Believe me, that’s how it is, even if you can probably no longer check it yourself because Twitter doesn’t want any more users…
In any case, this could mean nothing, but it could also mean that a trade is in the making. According to the Miami Herald, he could be part of a three-team trade between the Heat, Blazers and Nets. It’s not hot yet, but the rumors are getting warmer…
7:30 p.m.: Here’s a shocker: According to Wojnarowski, the price of a trade for James Harden is “really high”. The idea is that even after this, the Sixers still have enough support in the roster for MVP Joel Embiid to remain competitive.
6:30 p.m .: The Houston Rockets have again given Darius Days a two-way contract. The team announced this on Sunday.
The same goes for Trevor Hudgins. The team can sign another two-way player.
6:05 p.m .: Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Portland is not willing to accommodate Damian Lillard in his trade request to Miami. Yes, they’re willing to trade him, but the Blazers don’t seem to care where. They only care about young players, draft picks and cap relief.

NBA Free Agency: New contract for Jordan Clarkson
5:30 p.m .: According to Shams Charania, Jordan Clarkson will sign a new contract with the Jazz. After Utah pulled its option for 2023/24, both are said to have agreed on a longer cooperation.
In total, the new deal is said to be worth $55 million, but it’s not clear if that will be fresh money or the total volume of the contract. So far, his option for the coming season was worth $14.3 million, but he is expected to receive more money this year.

NBA Free Agency: Offer Sheet für Grent Williams?
5:05 p.m .: Forward Grant Williams is also a popular man these days. The Hornets are said to be considering offering him an offer sheet, according to a report by HoopsHype. He is a restricted free agent for the Celtics. The Mavericks are also said to be interested in his services.
4:50 p.m.: Fred VanVleet’s new three-year contract with the Houston Rockets is apparently not what it looks like. Locked on Rockets’ Jackson Gatlin reports that it’s actually a two-year deal with a team option for a third year. That would be a little more team-friendly than a “real” three-year contract.
4:40 p.m.: We have known for a few days that Damian Lillard wants to be traded. Now there is speculation that the Trail Blazers could at least “discuss” Jusuf Nurkic in a possible trade package for Lillard. This is reported by HoopsHype, among others. Nurkic is entitled to $54.38 million over the next three years.
4.30 p.m .: Donte DiVincenzo finally decided for the Knicks, but he is said to have had a few other serious interested parties. According to a report by SNY.TV’s Ian Begley, three other teams were said to have had their turn.
He ended up going to the Big Apple apparently because of his Villanova connection with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart. And because he thinks the Knicks are a Contender.
