casemiro claimed the opportunity to move to Manchester United came at the right time. If the offer had come sooner, Casemiro would have turned it down.
Casemiro joined United last summer. The Brazilian midfielder was brought from Real Madrid with a transfer value of up to 60 million pounds.
The transfer ended Casemiro’s nine-year journey in Madrid. With Los Blancos, Casemiro achieved great success by winning a total of 20 trophies.
Casemiro admitted that leaving Real Madrid was not something he would have considered even a year before making the move. He felt the offer from MU to experience a new league came at the right time.
“Talking about reasons, of course, I’m talking to my family. It’s important to talk to my family,” Casemiro told Placar TV.
“They accept that everything will be fine. My wife, my family, my children, of course their happiness is also important.”
“There comes a time to leave a club, to leave a great club. The age when you have that desire, the power to move.”
“I will also say that if this had happened two years ago, I would not have left. If this had happened two or three years ago I would not have left Real Madrid to move to another big European club. There are ambitions to play in another league,” said Casemiro .
