Bye, England! Hello France!

The adventure on the island is history again for Pierre-Emerick Aubaymeyang (34)!

Ex-BVB star is leaving after a used season. The attacker is leaving Chelsea and moving to top French club Olympique Marseille. He signed a three-year contract there until the summer of 2026.

From 2013 to 2018, Aubameyang spent five years hunting for goals in the Bundesliga for Borussia Dortmund. Overall, he scored 141 goals for BVB in 213 competitive games. He then moved to Arsenal on the island for a fee of 63.75 million euros. In January 2022, the attacker was finally sold to FC Barcelona. However, he stayed there for just under six months and scored 13 goals in 24 appearances.

Last summer he said goodbye again for 12 million euros in the direction of England in the Premier League to Chelsea. But he couldn’t really take off last season. In 22 games, the striker scored just three goals.

At the England club he first met coach Thomas Tuchel (49), whom he knew from Dortmund. Overall, the attacker worked with four coaches in one season, but no longer played a major role with any coach.

Far too little for its claim and its class!

That should change at Olympique Marseille now!

With the French, “Auba” can prove its quality in European competition. His new employer even has the chance of a place in the group stage of the Champions League if he has to pass the qualifying round as third in the table last season.

The English can at least remove Aubameyang from their payroll.
