The young promises of Argentine judo prepare with Paula Pareto

The historical Olympic champion Paula Pareto leads one of the most beautiful missions for any judo lover: to finish training the future values that will represent our country in the coming years. And, within this framework, she carried out a training camp for the DAR Program at the National Center for High Performance Sports (CeNARD) for 40 U18 youth who came from different Argentine provinces.

“They are all athletes who are between 16 and 17 years old, the idea is that they add development; In addition, we monitor them in terms of technical, tactical and strategic aspects”, confessed “La Peque”, who is also accompanied by other experts in the field such as Oritia González and Gastón Sanseri.

“Young people came from all over the country. We would love for the list to be much broader, but we managed to bring 40 boys who are not bad at all and also already had a brush with the senior team. The idea is to give them a competitive stimulus, we see them in action permanently, so that they can go out and compete at an international level”, explained Pareto.

Among the next objectives that this group of young people will have is the Centro República Tournament, in Córdoba; and then the National Closing Tournament in Santiago del Estero.
