The PequeStar Mini 2023 basketball game returns to Granada

It has already been presented at the Inacua Antonio Prieto Sports Center, the tenth edition of the SmallStar Mini 2023.

The event was attended by German Morales, provincial delegate of the FAB Granada; Antonio Gómez Nieto, president of Granada + Basketball; Jesús Fernández, sports director of Inacua Antonio Prieto; and Francisco Ballesteros, sports director of Granada + Basketball.

One more year, the importance of this tournament, already consolidated at the Andalusian level and a benchmark in the category, is made known, since it brings together the young promises of the basket Andalusian and that is undoubtedly a strong point of the club that also serves to close the activities that the club has carried out during the season.

The tournament comes to be an Andalusian championship unofficial from the premium category.

Sixteen will be the participating teams (eight men and eight women) represented in ten clubs in Andalusia, being the best ranked in their city.

In female Roquetas (Almería), EBG (Málaga), Andújar (Jaén), La Salle (Córdoba), Coria (Seville), Puerto Real (Cádiz), Utrera (Seville) and G+B (Granada) will participate.

In masculine The teams from Roquetas (Almería), EBG (Málaga), Andújar (Jaén), Cordobasket (Córdoba), Dos Hermanas (Seville), Puerto Real (Cádiz), Ciudad Huelva (Huelva) and G+B (Granada) will be the protagonists. .

Format and declarations

The teams will be framed in groups of four, playing between Friday and Saturday a group phase in which three games are played and a match of crosses on Sunday, playing a total of 32 games over the weekend.

Likewise, and during the tournament, a contest of triples in which each club will be represented by a player.

German Morales showed, as every year, the federation’s support for this type of initiative, highlighting the importance of this event as an informal Andalusian championship that is developed from the base, with the little ones, highlighting the experience that it will mean for the boys and girls participants, and from which in the future it will be possible to see great players, while at the same time it has highlighted the good level of grassroots basketball in our city, both at the Andalusian and national level.
