School leaders achieved excellent results in the “Principal Cup” badminton competition of colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province in 2013

The 2013 “Principal Cup” Badminton Tournament of Shaanxi Provincial Universities hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education was held at Baoji College of Arts and Sciences from May 31st to June 2nd. The combination of Zhang Yalin and Qian Yonghua, the leaders of our school, won the third place and the championship respectively.

More than 40 combinations of principals from various colleges and universities across the province participated in this competition. Our school leaders Zhang Yalin and Qian Yonghua and their partners Li Xiaoming and Zhang Ning represented our school in the competition. In the group stage, the two teams of our school passed all the way, and both won the first place in the group with a complete victory and entered the knockout stage. In the knockout round, the second team of our school drew lots to the same group, met in the semi-finals, and staged the championship and runner-up finals in advance. The game was played for three rounds, and finally the combination of Qian Yonghua and Zhang Ning entered the final with a slight advantage of 28:26 in the third round.

In the finals, Vice President Qian Yonghua and Teacher Zhang Ning accompanied the cheers and cheers of the cheerleaders, fought hard and finally won the crown.
