These are not easy months for Emma Raducanu. The British woman was recently operated on multiple times, with the aim of recovering 100% from the discomfort that plagued her in recent events. Out of the circuit, the time of reflection seems to have made her make a new decision that does not surprise many: Emma will not continue working with her last coach, Sebastian Sachs. Sachs joined her earlier this year after working alongside Belinda Bencic; Curiously, the Swiss began a collaboration with Dmitry Tursunov, former coach of Raducanu herself. It is possible that her absence from her tracks for the remainder of 2023 had a huge weight in her decision: the only thing confirmed, of course, is that Emma is once again without a coach.
I have really enjoyed Seb’s coaching and working with him, it’s unfortunate that circumstances made it unfeasible for both of us to continue right now and we have decided to part ways. I wish Seb all the best moving forwards. — pic.twitter.com/wrewLWVDVS
