Prato Basketball Project Young people on display in Trento

Great satisfactions for the Prato Basketball Project come from the youth sector. Under 14s, Under 15s and Beginners stood out in the last edition of the “Torneo Internazionale Città di Trento”, one of the most important events dedicated to youth basketball, collecting only one defeat in all the matches played in the three categories. The Under 14s, led on the bench for the occasion by coach Mannucci, won the tournament, beating Nuova Pallacanestro Dell’Adda (91-10), Mba Bassano (64-37) and Gussago (74-51) in the group qualifying and then winning the final against Basket School Varese with a round 69-31. Third place finish, however, for the rookies, despite the zero defeats received. The boys coached by coach Gambassi beat Olympia Rivignano (48-40), Jolly Basket (42-23) and Arcobaleno Basket (45-40) in the qualifying round, but by virtue of the basket coefficient they only had access to the final for the third place, where they defeated Nuova Pallacanestro Dell’Adda (15-9). Finally, fifth place for the Under 15 team, who in the qualifying round overtook Olympia Rivignano (63-49) and Valsesia (75-58), losing against Oleggio (48-63). In the subsequent final for the fifth and sixth place, the Pratesi then imposed themselves again on Rivignano (66-26).
