“I’m looking forward to the exciting and interesting challenges that await me at Austria,” said Adamu. “I am also fully convinced that we will fit together really well as a new team and can hardly wait to complete the first training sessions and games.”

Like her brother Junior, Adamu started playing soccer at GAK in the summer of 2018 and quickly became a goalscorer with the girls. After three years, she dared to join the ÖFB-Frauen-Akademie, where she is also pursuing her school career.

In May 2022, Adamu made her debut for the Austrian U16 national team against Spain, five days later she scored her first goal in team kit against Iceland. To date, three appearances for the U16 team have been followed by nine games in the U17 team, including five in the European Championship qualifier.
