FC Schalke 04 has apparently found a new jersey sponsor. A company from Hamm can be seen on the S04 chest in the future.
Gelsenkirchen – FC Schalke 04 is apparently going into the 2023/24 second division season with a new sponsor on the shirt chest. How Sky reported on Thursday afternoon (June 1st), the S04 has agreed to work with a company from Hamm.
Schalke 04 lands a million-dollar coup: new shirt sponsor for the S04
“MeinAuto.de” has been emblazoned on the jersey chest of FC Schalke 04 since the beginning of the 2022/23 season. However, according to consistent media reports, the company had a contractual clause that promised the online car dealer to withdraw as jersey sponsor, but retained S04 as sponsor to stay.
This has now happened: Loud Sky-Indications that “MeinAuto.de” will act as the premium sponsor of the S04 in the future. The S04 reacted to the Sky report about this development: “We are very pleased that MeinAuto.de will remain loyal to Schalke 04 as a premium partner from the coming season and that we will continue the trusting partnership.”
On the other hand, the lettering of the company “Hydrogen Deutschland GmbH” should soon be read on the shirt chest. The deal should bring FC Schalke 04 around seven million euros a year despite being relegated to the second division. A similar volume also included the cooperation with “MeinAuto.de” in the Bundesliga.
Schalke contract with “Hydrogen Germany” for three years
According to its own statement, “Hydrogen Deutschland” relies on the “power of hydrogen”. “Our goal is to expand a hydrogen economy to create a sustainable future with clean energy,” says the company’s website, which was founded in 2020.
