NBA: Lakers pro Austin Reaves makes national team decision Sports

Will the German Basketball Association soon be getting prominent reinforcements from overseas? NBA professional Austin Reaves (24) from the Los Angeles Lakers was seriously interested in wearing the jersey of the German national basketball team.

But apparently nothing will come of it! According to US media reports, Reaves has opted for a national team career with the USA!

Reaves recently told the German Press Agency: “We haven’t had any talks for a while. It’s been a few months since I spoke to anyone. The plan was to do nothing this summer. But at some point I would like to have this experience.”

Apparently he quickly scrapped the plan to do nothing this summer when Kerr asked him about a possible participation for the USA team.

The US team also includes Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Tyrese Haliburton (Indiana Pacers), Mikal Bridges (Brooklyn Nets) and Bobby Portis (Milwaukee Bucks), among others.
