LIVE – Roland-Garros: Swiatek rolls out and impresses, Gauff puts an end to Andreeva’s journey

The battle is worth watching between Andreeva and Gauff. After a hotly contested first set where the players each lost 3 services, the Russian and the American came up against each other in the tie-break, and it was Andreeva who emerged victorious. The match looks very tight.

It only took 2 hours of play for Rune to beat Olivieri and reach the round of 16. The Dane will find Fritz or Cerundolo (6-4, 6-1, 6-3).

The organization of Roland-Garris has just communicated the programming for this Sunday. For the first time since the start of the tournament, a women’s draw match is scheduled for the night session: Stephens-Sabalenka. Only a few minutes after the formalization, the first places are already available for resale on the official ticket office. Elena Rybakina, the world number 4 who was to open the day on the Central, withdrew a few minutes from her match against the Spanish Sorribes Tormo who is therefore qualified for the 8th finals.

It also started with Nishioka and Seyboth Wild. One of the two will face Coric or Etcheverry in the next round.

The 1st match of the day counting for the 3rd round between Zhang and Ruud begins. The winner of this meeting will face Jarry or Giron in the round of 16.

The Chinese started very well with a break made on the Norwegian’s first service game (2-1).

Despite his victory against the Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich in the 3rd round of Roland-Garros on Friday, Novak Djokovic was the target of a few whistles from the Parisian public. An attitude that did not please the Serbian star at all.
